We’re currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Liverpool, L5 to work one-to-one with a Reception chil. You will support a child with ASD . This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.
You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on supporting children to become motivated whilst upholding a positive learning attitude. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Reception child one-to-one, responding to their individual needs
- Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
- Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting or in nursery, community, or social care, or similar
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
