Milk Education is seeking a KS2 PPA Teacher to support Years 3–5 in primary schools across Knowsley (L32) on a temporary supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ learning, and enjoy a flexible 3-day working week.
About the Role:
As a KS2 PPA Teacher, you will cover PPA time for Years 3–5, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils continue to make progress. You’ll receive a timetable each week and work closely with class teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Days/Hours:
3 days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00 (days may vary depending on school needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons across Years 3–5, following the National Curriculum.
- Support pupils in completing work and guide their learning.
- Manage behaviour effectively and uphold school policies on safeguarding and behaviour.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, marking work and providing feedback as required.
- Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to maintain a positive classroom environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Relevant teaching experience in KS2, particularly Years 3–5.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Confidence in classroom management and behaviour guidance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Passionate, understanding, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning.
