Milk Education is recruiting a warm, enthusiastic, and committed Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Liverpool on a part-time basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate early years professional who thrives in a child-centred environment and is dedicated to supporting young children during their crucial early development years.

Key Responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Act as a Keyworker or Co-Keyworker for children aged 2–3 years, building strong, nurturing relationships.
  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Contribute to planning and observations alongside the wider team to ensure engaging, age-appropriate activities.
  • Create an inviting, stimulating, and play-based learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
  • Complete termly summative assessments and two-year progress checks where required.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, including holding meetings to discuss children’s progress and development.
  • Promote children’s wellbeing, safety, and positive behaviour at all times.

Essential / Desirable Requirements of a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Experience working with 2–3 year olds in an early years setting.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to early years education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a friendly team.
  • Paediatric First Aid training (desirable).
