Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Liverpool (L30) on a long‑term basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to take an active role within a KS1 classroom, supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, contributing to high‑quality learning experiences and helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high‑quality classroom support across KS1, working in partnership with the class teacher
  • Deliver targeted small‑group interventions and structured 1:1 support to pupils
  • Support the planning and delivery of phonics, early literacy, writing, and numeracy activities
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher to support assessment and planning
  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
  • Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
  • Act as a positive role model, supporting children’s independence and confidence

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience working within a primary school setting
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Confidence working independently and following teacher‑led planning
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
