Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Liverpool (L24) to work on a long-term basis until February starting ASAP! This is a temp to perm opportunity. You’ll be joining a community school and would be working with an experienced and supportive team. You will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child in KS1 with ADHD (you will be based in the classroom). This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Supporting pupil on a 1-1 basis, supporting with concentration
  • Working with the class teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Essential Qualifications for a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting or similar sector with a passion for working with SEN children
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
