Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the L23 Waterloo/Crosby area. You’ll be working 1:1 with a child in KS1, providing tailored support to help them engage confidently in classroom learning. You’ll collaborate closely with the teaching team and benefit from the school’s specialist support to deliver targeted interventions and personalised learning activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced educators who are committed to helping younger learners thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Role
- Start Date: January
- Contract: Long-Term Position
- Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual learning plans.
- Support KS1 child in accessing learning and classroom activities.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Help deliver targeted interventions and activities to support learning and development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children in a school or nursery setting (preferred).
- Paediatric First Aid certification (essential).
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
- Confidence in assisting with personal care.
