Milk Education is seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a supportive, two‑form entry primary school in the L10 area. This role is ideal for confident practitioners with strong Key Stage 1 knowledge who are able to lead a class independently and deliver high‑quality teaching and learning. You will take full responsibility for a KS1 class, providing a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that supports pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and emotional development.
Classroom & School Support
- Two‑form entry primary school within the local community
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support
- Supportive senior leadership and collaborative KS1 team
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Lead the classroom confidently, maintaining clear routines and high expectations
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, contributing to reporting and planning
- Support pupils with early literacy, phonics, writing, and numeracy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within KS1
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, nurturing, and reflective approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
