Milk Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to support with small group interventions to join an interactive primary school in Liverpool (L8). This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for someone passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with class teachers and the senior leadership team to deliver targeted interventions across KS1 and/or KS2. This may include small-group work, 1:1 support, phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions, and helping raise attainment for pupils who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted academic interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, phonics, and general curriculum needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to track progress and adapt support
  • Assist in creating a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide general classroom support when required
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils to promote confidence and engagement
About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • QTS and experience supporting in intervention work
  • Experience supporting children in primary education (school, tuition, coaching, childcare or similar)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience with Read, Write Inc Phonics
  • A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
  • Confidence delivering small-group or 1:1 support
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential, training and guidance can be provided.
