The Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students across KS3 and KS4 both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to help students remain engaged, confident, and motivated in their learning while contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Support students across a range of subjects within the classroom
  • Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to provide additional support
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Support students with varying learning abilities and needs
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and participation
  • Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally where required

The Ideal Candidate as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
