Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Liverpool to recruit newly qualified teachers from any subject background as part of our grad scheme! This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is keen to support students in raising attainment, building confidence, and developing knowledge.
The Role as a Graduate Teacher:
- We are looking for newly qualified secondary teachers from any subject background whether that be core subjects such as English and Maths through to specialised subjects such as psychology or a modern foreign language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lessons with the support from your department and in class TAs
- Help pupils prepare for assessments and GCSEs
- Track progress and provide feedback to senior leadership team
- Build positive relationships to engage and motivate learners
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong subject knowledge in your area (degree or equivalent desirable)
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Experience delivering interventions or tutoring (school-based preferred)
- Patient, adaptable, and engaging teaching style
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
