Milk Education is working with a primary school in South Liverpool, who are seeking a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher in the EYFS setting. This temporary EYFS Teaching Assistant role is starting immediately and will continue until July 2026. The role will continue into the new academic year from September 2026 to December 2026.
The School is looking for someone who is caring, patient, nurturing and accommodating to all children’s needs. The hours of work are 08:30 am - 15:30 pm, Monday to Friday. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher in the day-to-day set-up and running of the EYFS classroom, ensuring all children are kept on task and learning to their full potential. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day, and you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for every child.
Teaching Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
- Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating, and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
