Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Merseyside to recruit an experienced Maths Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled teacher looking to join a supportive secondary school where they can make a lasting impact on student achievement.

The successful candidate will have proven experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and drive academic progress.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Support students in developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress
  • Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics
  • Experience delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Confident, adaptable, and engaging teaching style
  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
