Milk Education is seeking a part-time KS2 PPA Teacher to provide Year 3 and Year 4 PPA cover in primary schools across Sefton (L20) on a temporary supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ learning, and enjoy a flexible part-time working pattern.
About the Role: As a KS2 PPA Teacher, you will cover PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning and high-quality classroom delivery. You will receive a weekly timetable and work closely with class teachers and support staff to maintain consistency and pupil progress.
Days/Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week (Monday to Friday) 08:30 – 16:00 (Specific days may vary depending on school needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Year 3 and Year 4, following the National Curriculum
- Support pupils in completing work and progressing in their learning
- Maintain effective behaviour management in line with school policies
- Mark work and provide feedback where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
- Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2, particularly Years 3 and/or 4
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisation
- A positive, supportive, and pupil-focused approach
