We are seeking a committed and inspiring Business Studies Teacher to join our specialist secondary SEMH setting in South Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people re‑engage with learning through relevant, real‑world curriculum and strong, supportive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Business Studies curriculum across KS3–KS4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of learners with SEMH
- Creating engaging, practical learning experiences that build confidence, independence and employability skills
- Leading small‑group interventions focused on enterprise, financial literacy and real‑life application
- Building strong, trusting relationships to support behaviour, motivation and emotional regulation
- Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams and external agencies
- Contributing to personalised learning plans and behaviour support strategies
Essential Experience
- Experience working in SEMH or alternative provision at secondary level
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- Confidence delivering Business Studies at KS3–KS4
