Are you a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant with a background in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Liverpool (L36), is looking for a dedicated and nurturing TA to join their Early Years team.
About the Role of a 1-1 EYFS Assistant:
- Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception).
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs (including ASD, speech & language, and developmental delay).
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement individual learning plans (EHCPs).
- Foster a caring, creative, and inclusive learning environment that encourages every child to thrive.
About You:
- Experience working with EYFS pupils, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Proven background supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, etc.).
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
- Empathetic, patient, and proactive in approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
