The Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming Primary School with an Early Years Centre in the heart of Newham (E12). You’ll be working as part of a dynamic Early Years team, supporting children aged 2–5 to develop key skills through play, exploration and guided learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner who loves working in early education and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging and creative learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, assess and record children’s development to support next steps in learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years lead to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all learners.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years school setting
- Sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, caring and proactive approach
