Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming one‑form entry Primary School in Liverpool (Kirkby) on a long‑term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide classroom support in year 1, assisting with day‑to‑day learning activities and helping to deliver engaging lessons. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils in year 1
- Support learning through group work, interventions, and focused activities.
- Support with phonics – Read Write Inc
- Encourage inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroom.
- Help with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessment activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Recent and relevant experience working in an educational setting.
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification – CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent.
- A passion for supporting pupils across all primary stages.
- Read Write Inc Trained
- Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team.
