The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher for a Primary School in Leigh (WN7) to work on a temporary, long-term basis starting immediately! The Year 6 Teacher role is to start immediately and will be until July 2026. This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. There are 28 children in the class and there is one full-time TA working on a one to one basis with an SEND child.
Your role & responsibilities:
- Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
- Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, setting home working tasks
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Non-negotiables:
- You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
- Hold QTS
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate and understanding
- Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
- Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
- Good communication skills
