Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
You’ll work alongside experienced administrative and pastoral teams, helping staff, students, parents and visitors while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
What you’ll do
- Provide general administrative support to the school’s office and wider staff team.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and welcome visitors to the school.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and student information.
- Assist with attendance, admissions, communication and general school administration.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, staff and external visitors.
- Help ensure the school office operates efficiently and provides a welcoming service.
Who we’re looking for
- Organised, reliable and approachable individuals who enjoy working in a busy environment.
- Experienced administrators, receptionists, customer service professionals or graduates looking to develop their career.
- Strong communicators who are confident dealing with a wide range of people.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Previous experience within a school environment is beneficial but not essential.
