What does an MFL Teacher do?
- Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach French, Spanish, German, or another modern foreign language depending on your specialism
- Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning attitudes
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development
- Inspire students to develop an appreciation of different languages, cultures, and global perspectives
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage a genuine interest in language learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider MFL department and school community

What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- A degree in a modern foreign language or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, German, or another modern foreign language
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring and motivating young people
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- ECTs are welcome to apply!
