Milk Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds to appoint an enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The Opportunity

This is more than just teaching mathematics. You’ll help students develop the skills, resilience and logical thinking they need both inside and outside the classroom. Through engaging and well-structured lessons, you’ll inspire learners to build confidence with numbers, tackle challenges and achieve their full potential. Working within a supportive Maths department, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while continuing to develop your own teaching practice.

Your Role

  • Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities for Key Stage 5 where applicable)
  • Inspiring students through clear explanations, problem-solving activities and real-world applications of mathematics
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to support achievement
  • Encouraging resilience, confidence and independent learning in every lesson
  • Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community

We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Passionate about Mathematics and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Committed to delivering engaging, inclusive and challenging lessons
  • Dedicated to helping every student achieve their full potential in Maths
