We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to support children with
Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour in welcoming primary schools across
Leeds .
Every day is different, but every day is rewarding. You’ll play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Provide one-to-one and small group support.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Support children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to support each child’s individual needs.
We’re Looking For People Who Are

- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Positive, proactive and committed to making a difference.
- Experienced in education, care, youth work, support work or similar roles (desirable but not essential).
- Willing to learn and develop through ongoing training.
