Milk Education is working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leeds who are looking for passionate and creative EYFS Teachers to join their teams from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or ECT who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education. You’ll be joining a nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, play, and child development are at the heart of learning.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
- Differentiate activities to meet the individual needs of every child
- Build strong and trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other professionals to support pupil development
- Encourage independence, confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain high safeguarding standards
About You
- A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
- Experienced in EYFS or passionate about developing their Early Years practice
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS curriculum and Early Learning Goals
- Creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic
- Confident in supporting children’s individual learning and development
- Skilled at building positive relationships with children and families
- Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive
