Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, delivering engaging lessons to students aged 11–18 across a range of subjects.
You’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.
What you’ll do
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Create a positive and productive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
- Provide feedback to school staff on student engagement and lesson outcomes.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Teachers with QTS or ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
- Confident educators who can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Adaptable and organised professionals who enjoy working in a variety of school environments.
- Strong classroom practitioners with effective behaviour management skills.
- Subject specialists and general Cover Teachers are both encouraged to apply.
What this role offers
Pay
£162.31 – £223.62 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
