What you’ll do:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Computer Science and ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
  • Teach topics including programming, digital literacy, cyber security, computational thinking, and creative digital technologies.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications.
  • Support students in developing confidence with technology and problem-solving skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with department staff to support student progress and attainment.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
  • ECTs and experienced Computer Science / ICT Teachers welcome to apply.
  • Teachers with experience delivering Computer Science, ICT, or Digital Technologies in secondary settings.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Passionate educators committed to preparing young people for an increasingly digital world.

What this role offers:

  • Pay: ECTs / Early Career Teachers: £168.80 – £178.58 per day
  • Main Pay Scale (M1–M6): £168.80 – £232.58 per day
  • Upper Pay Scale (UPS): £243.45 – £261.79 per day
  • Pay rates dependent on experience, qualifications, and assignment responsibilities.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
  • September starts available
  • Long‑term placements & temp-to-perm opportunities
  • Opportunity to teach in supportive and innovative secondary schools.
