Have you got experience as a Behaviour Support Worker, SEMH Teaching Assistant, or Youth Worker Roles? Are you looking for a new role in Leeds? We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to work within Primary schools in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs and in some cases supporting the whole class
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support EHCP and behaviour plans
- Build strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement
- Encourage attendance, engagement, and personal development
What we are looking for
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Commitment to a full-time, term-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30)
- Confidence managing and de-escalating challenging situations
- Experience working with young people, behaviour support, SEMH, or mentoring
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) supporting children or young people with SEMH or additional needs
