What does a Science Teacher do?
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science depending on your specialism
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning attitudes
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage a genuine interest in Science
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider Science department and school community

What we’re looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- A degree in Science or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring and motivating young people
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
