Milk Education is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds to appoint an enthusiastic Maths Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who believes every student can succeed in mathematics and wants to inspire confidence, curiosity and a love of problem-solving.
This is more than just teaching mathematics. You’ll help students develop the skills, resilience and logical thinking they need both inside and outside the classroom. Through engaging and well-structured lessons, you’ll inspire learners to build confidence with numbers, tackle challenges and achieve their full potential.
Working within a supportive Maths department, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact while continuing to develop your own teaching practice.
Your Role
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities for Key Stage 5 where applicable)
- Inspiring students through clear explanations, problem-solving activities and real-world applications of mathematics
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback to support achievement
- Encouraging resilience, confidence and independent learning in every lesson
- Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community
We’re keen to hear from teachers who are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Passionate about Mathematics and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
- Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
