We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to provide support for students with social communication needs and ADHD in a primary and secondary school setting. This is a vital role where you will help the student access learning, build confidence, and develop strategies to thrive both academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent support in lessons and around school
  • Implement tailored strategies to support social communication and attention needs
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff to adapt learning approaches
  • Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and independence
  • Monitor progress and contribute to support plans

  • Experienced in supporting young people with SEND/SEMH, particularly ADHD and social communication needs
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with strong relationship-building skills
  • Able to adapt quickly and think creatively to engage learners
  • Confident in working collaboratively with staff and families
