Milk Education is working with a range of welcoming and supportive SEN schools across Feltham who are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially. Whether you have a background in Education, Psychology, Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Support Work, or SEN, this role offers valuable experience in a rewarding school environment.

About the Role

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Support children to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence within the classroom
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, helping them develop socially and emotionally
  • Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and abilities
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and the SENCO
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed

About You

  • Experienced working with children or young people in a school, nursery, care, youth work, or similar setting
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEND and making a positive impact
  • Patient, caring, and resilient
  • Confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a supportive team
  • Eager to develop their knowledge and experience within SEN education

A qualification or degree in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, Childhood Studies, Criminology, or a related subject is desirable but not essential.
