The role
- £107.71 daily rate
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 15:30pm
- Temporary contract, long term, full time
- Based in a Primary School in North Durham
- September Start

Main Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs
- Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
- Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting
- Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
- Solid numeracy and literacy skills
- Genuine passion for supporting young people
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
