KS2 Teacher – Stockton-on-Tees
Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Stockton-on-Tees and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated KS2 Teachers to join schools from September 2026.
Whether you’re an experienced KS2 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching career, we’d love to hear from you.
We have a range of long-term, full-time opportunities available, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils through the later stages of their Primary education, delivering engaging lessons, preparing pupils for their next steps and creating a positive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education.
- Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
- Develop strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
- Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom practice.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong understanding of assessment and pupil progress.
- Ability to differentiate learning effectively.
- Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
