Milk Education are working with a primary school in Aigburth who are seeking a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 1 who has Autism and lower ability learning needs. This role is starting January 2026 and will be a temporary, long-term role until April 2026 with the potential of this continuing after the Easter break.
The school are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs. The hours of work are 08:30am-15:30pm, Monday to Friday.
This role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the child’s needs are being met. In this role, you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.
