We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Standish (WN6) to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible - July 2025. The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is to start as soon as possible continuing until July 2025. This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm. The role of a KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a timetable to follow each week and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
- Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Non-negotiables:
- You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
- Hold QTS
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate and understanding
- Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
- Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
- Good communication skills
