Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop essential cooking skills, nutritional knowledge and food preparation techniques in a safe and engaging learning environment.

What you’ll be doing
- Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching practical cooking skills, food preparation and nutrition.
- Promoting food hygiene, health and safety, and safe use of kitchen equipment.
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.
- Creating an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
- Contributing to the wider life of the Design & Technology department and school.
We would love to hear from teachers who have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A passion for practical learning and developing students’ life skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
