Location: L32 Area, Liverpool

Start Date: September

Contract: Until July 2027 (operation leave cover, with potential to extend)

Hours: Part-time, 3 Days per Week (8:30am–3:30pm)

Milk Education is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in the L32 area of Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children's early learning and development within a nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.

Working alongside an experienced Early Years team, you will help create engaging learning experiences that encourage children to develop socially, emotionally, and academically through play-based learning.

Classroom & School Support

  • Two-form entry primary school within the local community
  • Experienced Nursery practitioners and Teaching Assistants working alongside you
  • Additional SEN support where required
  • Supportive and collaborative Early Years and senior leadership team

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with their learning through play and structured activities
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment
  • Encourage children's communication, language, social, and emotional development
  • Support children with personal care where required
  • Assist with observations and contribute to children's learning and development records
  • Support children with SEN and additional needs where appropriate
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, the SENCO, and senior leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • A passion for supporting children's early development
  • Knowledge of the EYFS Framework is desirable
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is beneficial but not essential
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
