Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Abbey Wood on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis. Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teaching a broad Humanities curriculum, including subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education
- Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and discussion
- Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress effectively
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Contributing to the wider Humanities department and school community
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all students
