- Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Hindley
Milk Education is looking for an experienced HLTA to work full-time at a primary school in Hindley (WN2).
The temporary HLTA role will involve covering lessons across EYFS and KS1 when teachers are out on PPA or require management release time.
The HLTA will cover a range of subjects within EYFS and KS1. Knowledge and experience of EYFS and KS1 curriculum within a UK mainstream primary school setting is essential.
This is a long-term role starting September 2026 and continuing to February 2027, with potential to become permanent for the right applicant.
The working hours are 08:30–15:30, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Cover lessons across EYFS and KS1 when teachers are out on PPA or require release time.
- Deliver a range of subjects within EYFS and KS1 as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous EYFS & KS1 teaching or HLTA experience
- HLTA Status, QTS Status or Level 6 Degree
- Ability to develop positive relationships with staff and students
- Strong behaviour management skills
