Milk Education is looking for a positive, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in

Darlington this September.

This role is perfect for someone who loves helping children build confidence, overcome challenges and celebrate their progress .

You’ll work alongside the class teacher to support pupils both in the classroom and through focused

1:1 and small-group activities .

From helping a child master their times tables to encouraging a reluctant reader to pick up a book, you’ll play a huge part in helping pupils believe in themselves.

  • You don’t need to have years of classroom experience. We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Naturally patient, encouraging and positive .
  • Confident communicating with children.
  • Reliable and ready to get involved.
  • Passionate about helping children succeed.
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a wider school team.
  • Experienced in a school, nursery, childcare, tutoring or youth setting – desirable but not essential .
  • A graduate, aspiring teacher or someone with relevant volunteering/placement experience .
