Inclusion Support Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive Primary Schools.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every child feels valued, supported and able to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
- Support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Help pupils access learning activities and engage in the classroom.
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD and communication needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENDCOs and external professionals.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
About You
We're looking for candidates who
- Have experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare or support setting.
- Are passionate about inclusion and supporting children with additional needs.
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Are patient, resilient and adaptable.
- Can support pupils with a range of learning, social and emotional needs.
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
