- SEN Behaviour & Learning Mentor to support our partner SEN schools across
Guildford and the surrounding Surrey area .
As a Behaviour & Learning Mentor, you’ll play a key role in helping students overcome behavioural challenges, engage positively with learning, and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, support workers, or experienced education professionals looking to make a real difference in specialist school settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN and additional needs.
- Implement behaviour support strategies to encourage positive engagement and learning.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support individual learning plans.
- Help students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence.
- Promote a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and personal development.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people (education, SEN, youth work, coaching, care, mentoring, or similar).
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
