About the Role — Aspiring Educational Psychologist (SEN - Classroom Based)
- Location: Guildford, Surrey
- Pay rate: £107.00 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30 pm (Term Time Only)
- Start Date: ASAP
This role involves supporting children with high-support SEN and SEMH in specialist and mainstream schools. Some pupils may communicate non-verbally, making creativity, emotional intelligence, and patience key to success in this role.
You will support pupils with:
- Emotional regulation
- 1:1 academic support, including subject support and scribing where necessary
- Communication through a variety of different means
- Daily routines that reflect the work of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Clinical Psychologists
This role gives you clinical exposure and practical experience that universities value when applying for Clinical Psychology or Art Therapy postgraduate routes.
