Milk Education is working with a network of Primary Schools across Leeds that are looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join their teams as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This is the perfect opportunity if you’re considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or any role within the education sector. You’ll gain invaluable experience in a supportive environment while making a real impact on students’ academic and personal development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to boost academic progress
- Assisting classroom teachers with planning and delivering lessons
- Providing pastoral care and encouraging positive behaviour
- Running tailored intervention sessions to help pupils meet their learning goals
- Gaining classroom management experience by covering lessons
- Supporting students with additional needs, including autism and learning challenges
