We are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant for a large Ofsted rated ‘Good’ 11-18 Secondary School in the Liverpool area.

This school is focused on: ‘having excellent teachers, a family environment, motivated pupils and a commitment to educating the whole child, both in and outside of the classroom. They foster relationships marked by kindness, tolerance and respect and have a school site which is noted for its warmth, energy and positivity of both staff and pupils, located in a historical and picturesque setting.’
Your role & responsibilities:
● Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs
● Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support
● Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey
● Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions
Non-negotiables:
● Recent university degree of 2:2 classification or above
● Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
● Clear desire to work with children and young people
● Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential
● Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school
