We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Stockton from September 2026.

This is a full‑time, long‑term supply position, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.

You will have a passion for your subject and the ability to motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
• Planning, preparing and delivering high‑quality lessons.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting the wider aims and ethos of the school.
• Participating in departmental meetings and school activities where required.
• The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
