Milk Education is working with a welcoming primary school with a nursery provision in Gateshead to recruit a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
The Role
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through engaging activities and play
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
- Encourage children’s confidence, communication, independence and positive behaviour
- Build positive relationships and help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff while following EYFS and safeguarding procedures
About You
- Recent experience working with nursery-aged children
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification (desirable)
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
- A commitment to safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
Applicants must live locally to Gateshead – no relocation.
