Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming nurseries and early years settings across Gateshead who are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Level 3 Childcare Practitioners to join their teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is committed to supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing during the most important stages of their early years journey.
The Role
As a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner, you will:
- Support children aged 0–5 in their learning, development, and daily routines
- Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children to thrive
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress
- Support children’s personal care needs when required
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards are maintained at all times
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent
- Experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
