Working hours: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm Full Time

£550 – £600 Per Week

We are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for an 11-18 Secondary School in the Gateshead area, to work on an ongoing basis for the 2026-27 academic year.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
  • Follow and implement the school’s Safeguarding and Behaviour policies
  • Liaise with the school’s Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes
  • No planning or marking required

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
