Role: Classroom Supervisor (Secondary School)
Location: Gateshead
Working hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm (full-time or part-time options available)

We are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for an 11-18 Secondary School in the Gateshead area, to work on an on-going basis for the 2026-27 academic year.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
- Follow and implement the school’s Safeguarding and Behaviour policies
- Liaise with the school’s Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes
- No planning or marking required

- Graduate-level qualification
- Passion for education and working with children and young people
- Hard-working, flexible and reliable
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
