Overview

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEND School in Everton, Liverpool to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible!

You\'ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs- including ASD and PMLD.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

Responsibilities

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
  • Deliver catch-up sessions

Essential Qualifications

  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
  • Must have a passion for education
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
  • Must have experience using Personal Care
